Support for growth-oriented people and professionals
I'm a clinical mental health counselor with over 25 years of corporate leadership and consulting experience. The many personal life challenges and losses I have navigated while simultaneously working in high-pressure professional environments have culminated in a generative therapeutic style that blends empathy and curiosity with encouragement, optimism, and possibility.
I use evidence-based practices and pragmatic techniques that resonate with those who are both eager for progress and willing to embrace the emotional and somatic work that change, healing, and growth involve. And I work particularly well with those who are goal-oriented and open to sharing a laugh - and maybe even some tears - along the way!
Having worked with everyone from Type-A twenty-somethings to busy working moms and executives affiliated with brands ranging from PBS, eBay, and Shark Tank, I'm a small-town nerdy girl at heart who believes deeply in the power of HI - Human Interaction, Human Insight & Human Inspiration. I'm honored for the chance to companion you into your next season and help you grow into a greater sense of well-being.
THE CLOVERLY WAY
Revered by ancient cultures and spiritual figures ranging from the Druids to St. Patrick, the clover is a timeless symbol of resilience. The three heart-shaped leaves that comprise a typical clover have been celebrated to symbolize faith, hope, and love - all elements that work in tandem to help us heal and to tap our inner wellspring of resilience.
THE BACKSTORY
As a Lucky-Charms-loving child of the '80s who grew up in the Midwest, four-leaf clover hunting was a favorite (albeit elusive) pastime. While they were incredibly hard to come by organically, I realized that if I could find a robust three-leaf clover and e-vvver so gently tear one of the leaves in half...then, voilá! Four leaves appeared...and I felt a special sense of delight and empowerment that I had created my own luck (vs. waiting around for it to happen to me).
